What Does The Best Version of You Do?
The decisions that we make dictate the type of person that we become.
Make bad choices, and become a bad person.
Make good choices, and become a good person.
In some senses, it is that simple.
But, there are times when the good choice isn’t easy, so we make the bad choice.
A lot of the time we know the decision that we should make, but we tend to fear either what is required to make that choice or the consequences of the choice.
In those times when making the right choice is hard, one of the most helpful tools is to ask yourself “what would the best version of me do?”
The value of this is that it helps you think like the best version of you would think.
If you are between eating a 1500-calorie cheeseburger and a 250-calorie salad, ask yourself what the best version of you would do. If the best version of you is someone who is looking to lose weight and be healthier the choice is obvious.
This decision-making gets you closer to being the best version of yourself.
